How JRNY handles your data when using AI and LLM services for email generation and note extraction.

Data retention

AI runs through your own OpenRouter account, and data retention follows your OpenRouter settings. All AI operations use OpenRouter on your own API key.

How is my CRM data processed by AI?

According to OpenRouter's documentation, when you use AI features like email generation or note extraction, JRNY sends relevant context to the AI provider. The provider processes the request and returns structured data to your CRM. Data retention follows your OpenRouter settings. Source: GDPR Article 22 regulates automated decision-making.

Do I need my own key?

Yes. AI features need your own OpenRouter API key, and you pay OpenRouter directly. BetterQA does not set a no-logging flag on your requests.
